Staff Nurse - Full Time and Part Time Positions Available
Role: Staff Nurse
Hours: Full time & Part time hours available
Salary: £21.49 ph
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a registered nurse to join our dedicated team providing excellent care for adults with neurological conditions.
The role
You will provide professional clinical nursing to our guests and ideally have a genuine passion and interest in working with neurological conditions.
Responsibilities include
- Promoting the highest standards of clinical nursing
- Overseeing the day-to-day care of guests and the administration of required medication
- Planning, implementing and supervising the provision of quality care
- Maintaining the required medical documentation
- Upholding guest’s rights to privacy, dignity and choice
- Reporting any ill health among guest and request professional visits when necessary
- Being familiar with, and strictly adhering to, company policy and procedure and Care Inspectorate guidelines
- Abiding by the Nursing and Midwifery Council’s (NMC’S) code of professional conduct
- Delegating daily workload, ensuring effective and efficient distribution of tasks as required in the absence of the Charge Nurse.
Requirements:
- Must be a registered nurse (current PIN number with NMC)
- Right to Work in the UK essential
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- A positive, can-do attitude
- The ability to comfortably and competently supervise other staff members
Salary and Benefits:
- Excellent salary £21.92 per hour
- Guarantee of every 2nd weekend off with a Friday 1pm finish
- Overtime available at rate of time and a half
- Enhanced holiday pay of 7 weeks / 35 days per annum (pro rata)

Set in the beautiful East Lothian countryside we are a unique, friendly and caring independent charity providing short breaks for guests with long-term neurological conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis, Motor Neurone Disease, Stroke and Parkinson’s as well as respite for their carer’s.
We are the only service of our kind in Scotland and we aim to be more than just a change of caring environment instead offering a wonderful holiday experience, enabled by our 24-hour nursing and care team.
