Why work with us?

Working for Leuchie means you will be working for an award-winning charity in the social healthcare sector, whose purpose is to provide essential respite breaks for people living with long-term neurological conditions and their families. The people we support are at the heart of everything we do and you could play your part in that, whether as a member of our expert health care team or by working in one of our varied and exciting roles within the many departments that function to support the day to day running of Leuchie, and its future.

We're proud to have just become the 100th Living Wage Employer in the social care sector. We pay above average wages for our staff because we know that a team full of skilled, passionate, and dedicated people is essential to the purpose and success of Leuchie.

Exciting and varied roles across digital technology, marketing, fundraising, bookings, guest engagement and HR pop up from time to time. Why not send in your CV and cover letter to hr@leuchiehouse.org.uk to let us know you’d be interested in working for us when the right job pops up?

Support

We know how important it is to feel engaged and supported in any new role which is why we offer a comprehensive induction program which includes orientation, on-the job and formal training, role shadowing and regular 1-2-1’s.

We can also help you develop your career by helping you register as a professional social care practitioner with the Scottish Social Services Council. We also pay for and support you to complete your vocational SVQ2 and SVQ3 training.

Health & Wellbeing

We are committed to your health and wellbeing and you will have access to our comprehensive Employee Assistance Program. We have Mental Health First Aiders onsite and we provide weekly drop ins for a confidential chat and a cuppa. And, recognising that exercise is as important as mental health we are now part of the cycle to work scheme.

We’re a boomerang organisation!

We’re passionate about career development and always encourage staff who take on further education or training to advance their careers. If that means leaving Leuchie to work on secondments or attend university then the door is left open with a view to returning to work for us with your newfound skills. Read Sue’s story.

Proud to be green

We are also working towards making Leuchie a ‘greener’ place to work and reducing our environmental impact.
