Senior Care Assistant raises funds for shower chair

A chair which will transform personal care at Leuchie arrived this week. Gillian Kirkhope, a Senior Care Assistant on our team, ran the Rob Burrows Marathon in Leeds in May to raise funds for this brilliant piece of equipment.

It's awe inspiring that, when off-shift, members of our team will push themselves to the limit to fundraise for us. We are so lucky to have people like Gill with us, who know how important equipment such as this is to enable carers to help shower guests at a height and angle perfect for the guest and carer, making the process easier and more comfortable for both.
