Fit for a Queen
Emma Jenson, Director of Health and Care at Leuchie, has been one of the few selected to take part in the Queen's Nursing Institute Scotland's Queens Nurse programme, this year.
The Queen’s Nurse Programme looks for change makers, those community nurses and midwives making a real difference to people’s health and wellbeing; those who are passionate about social justice, and those looking to amplify the nursing voice in addressing the social determinants of health. The Queen’s Nurse title is awarded each year to around 20 nursing and midwifery pioneers who complete a nine-month ‘journey of discovery'.
We're both proud and delighted that those on the panel recognised the qualities and ambitions that we see in Emma every day here at Leuchie.
