Charity Christmas Trees

Give the gift of respite this Christmas by purchasing your Christmas Tree from Leuchie House. By doing so, you will be supporting families living with the long term effects of a neurological condition such as MS, MND, Parkinson's and stroke to access a break when they need it most.

Since March, 2,265 nights of respite at Leuchie House have been lost due to the pandemic. Families that would normally rely on Leuchie House for respite went into shielding with many experiencing reduced care packages in the height of the crisis, putting extra stress and pressure on their families and loved ones to provide the majority of care required. In Scotland alone, the number of unpaid carers increased from 759,000 to 1.1 million since the start of the pandemic.

Caring for a loved one living with the long term effects of MS, MND, Parkinson's and other nuerological conditions can be physically and emotionally exhausting, and breaks are critical to maintaining relationships, as well as physical and mental wellbeing within families. With your support, our respite breaks can transform lives offering a lifeline to families when they need it most.

To raise vital funds, we are selling freshly cut, premium Nordmann Firs grown in Scotland. This is the most popular Christmas tree in the UK and it is easy to see why with their classic Christmas tree shape, excellent needle retention and soft, long, dark green needles.

Trees are available in 4 sizes from 5ft to 8ft and will be available for COLLECTION ONLY from Leuchie House on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th of December. Prices start from £40.00 with all profits going directly to Leuchie House. Please note we have a limited amount of each size of tree - once they're gone they're gone!

FAQ's

How do I make payment?

Payment is taken via the Ticket Tailor website when you place your order. Ticket Tailor has very kindly waived their fees this years due to c-19, so all money raised will come directly to Leuchie House.

When can I collect?

The dates for collection are Saturday 5th December or Sunday 6th December. Please note our trees are for collection only and delivery is not available. Once payment is confirmed you will recieve a 1 hour time slot in which your tree should be collected. Unfortunately, we cannot offer an earlier collection date as our trees are cut freshly and as close to delivery date as possible.

Can I purchase a tree on the day?

We are only operating a pre-order service for trees this year and cannot guarantee there will be any surplus on the day.

Do I have to bring my email confirmation on the day?

Yes, our lovely volunteers will require your booking confirmation to ensure you are provided with the correct tree. You can show this to our team as either a printed out copy or on your phone.

What kind of tree stand do I need?

Your cut tree needs water to stay green for a longer duration and ensure maximum needle retention throughout the festive period, therefore you will require a stand that can hold water. Example tree stand
